Your needs

Installation Satcom antenna HGA-7001

Your benefits

The HGA‐7001 High Gain Antenna is an ARINC 781 compliant antenna which conforms to the Inmarsat System Definition Manual (SDM) for an AERO‐H antenna, and is approved for use with AERO‐H/H+ and Swift64 SATCOM Systems. The antenna complies with the INMARSAT Aeronautical System Definition Manual requirements for high gain service.

The antenna contains an integrated beam‐steering unit and receives command information directly from the Satellite Data Unit (SDU). Electrical interface to the aircraft is made through a TNC connector for Radio Frequency (RF) interface and a multi pin connector for power and data to the antenna. A compartment under the antenna tailcap provides direct connection to the aircraft power

Product Description

The HGA‐7001 must be mounted on the top of the fuselage with a clear view of the sky, in place of the SATCOM Antenna System CMA‐2102.

A mounting plate is required to adapt the flat antenna base to a curved airframe, reusing the existing skin doubler (already approved by Boeing).

The HGA‐7001 High Gain Antenna consists of a multi‐element phase steered array, which is mounted on a base plate inside a radio transparent radome.
