Introduction

Talon Aerospace anti-collision wing and tail strobe lights are designed to replace all incandescent based strobe lights installed on Boeing, Airbus, McDonnell/Douglas, Embraer, Bombardier and other regional aircraftt.

During retrofit the operator will purchase an install kit, which includes an adaptor and harness assembly. The harness and adaptor will last the lifetime of the airframe. There are 3 basic LED strobe designs and all operate with a common Talon LED power supply unit.

Talon and Proponent

Proponent is the exclusive global distributor of all Talon Aerospace products. This relation provides customers with the latest generation of LED lights.

Proponent

Proponent is the new identity representing Kapco Global and Avio-Diepen as one united company, and the unique capabilities that the new organization brings to the aerospace market. With extensive experience in supporting the MRO, OEM and airline markets, our organization offers innovative inventory and supply chain management solutions to OEM and aftermarket customers.

Your needs

Talon LED wing and tail strobe lights reduce weight with up to 5,5 lbs per anti-collision light/power supply combination.

The Talon LED power supply unit has a variety of functions programmed into it which are triggered by pin-programming the harness.
After 30,000 hours in service, the operator can replace LED light boards and is not required to replace the complete unit, reducing cost of ownership. The replacement parts will be offered in a 100% replacement item kit.

Your benefits

Product Overview
• LED wing and tail strobe light upgrade for all current Boeing, Airbus, McDonnell Douglas and Embraer airframes
• Single LRU power supply with multi-functionality triggered by pin-programming across multiple fleet types
• Aft strobe on Airbus 318-340, DC9/MD80/MD90/B717 and Embraer E170/190 will also dual function as aft position light.
• Qualified to meet FAR intensity requirements at 30,000 in service hours
• Polycarbonate lens material covered with diamond carbon coating reduces FOD damage
• Weight saving up to 4lbs per anti-collision light/power supply combination
• Fleet commonality will reduce obsolescence risk. With a fleet phase out spare inventory can be used on other active fleets.
