Introduction

Conversion of a Boeing 737-700 Increased Gross Weight (IGW) aircraft configuration airplane to an Airborne Early Warning & Control (AEW&C) aircraft configuration in accordance with Boeing Documents D725-10371-5, aircraft serial number (S/N) 33474, Modification Revision Master Drawing List (MDL), dated May 7, 2009; D751-10350-4, aircraft S/N 33962, Modification Revision MDL, dated July 1, 2010; and D772-10427-2, aircraft S/N 34700, Modification Revision MDL, dated July 27, 2011. The modification includes structural changes to support the addition of external antennas and radars, in-flight refueling system, ventral fins for increased stability control, reduced speed envelope, an increase in electrical generation capability from 180 to 360 KVA, a new interior to provide crew operation of the radar systems, avionics in the main deck to support the radar operation, and a crew rest area, an increased in engine thrust, and modification to the flight deck avionics to reflect the new configuration.airplane to an Airborne Early Warning & Control (AEW&C) aircraft configuration
