This STC provides operators with a cost effective and easily installed solution to meet the upcoming ADS-B Out mandate in 2020.

The design entails the upgrade of the Garmin GTX-330D dual transponder system with GTX-330D w/ES units. The upgraded transponders are interfaced with a GTN 725/750 navigator unit from Garmin.

This STC allows compliance with the ADS-B Out mandate by means of upgrading the currently installed aircraft avionics suite, providing an elegant and cost-effective solution, instead of installing standalone additional units dedicated uniquely to show compliance with ADS-B.
