Under certain circumstances, special conditions are required to operate the aircraft, for example maintenance reposition flight. A non EASA aircraft manufacturer may issue a No Techical Objection (NTO) or similar statement.

This may need to be processed by a DOA organisation before it can be presented to EASA or local office for the application for a Permit to Fly.
